Don't bother with the reading, everything on the test is from lectures. A lot of writing. Good lecturer.

the class was really interesting. you need to be alert for the lectures to follow along. you can get by without reading as long as you take good notes. everything on the test is strait from lecture.
Great teacher. You have to keep up with the reading, but his classes are not hard. He is very good at letting you know what you need to know. Explains things very well. His lectures are actually helpful. Very nice and approachable. Willing to help.
He's really cool...he has goo lectures and I thought he was very interesting.. sometimes you can get a little lost if you don't read the material...just keep up on the readings and it's all good.
he repeats everything like 4 times. this could be very good for some people who don't get it the first and people who don't read, but if you do the reading and understand it gets boring very fast.
Great at reconstructing argument. Clear about his point, and does an excellent job answering student's questions
Hanser is a great professor. He's good at explaining philosophy (specifically ethics), and is sometimes entertaining. The assignments (two papers and two tests) were rather difficult, but if you REALLY know the stuff and have an easy TA, you'll be fine.
He is funny, interesting and knowledgable. I enjoyed his class, but grading is done by the TA's. So problems there are not his fault exactly. If you take his class, you won't be bored!
Very interesting and intelligent man. But I am not a philosophy major and got a B. I worked hard and would've wanted an A. If you don't know philosophy really well, be careful!
Excellent lecturer, funny, interesting material, cares about students
