Sarah Boggs is the best!! I Really enjoyed her class cause she's laid back, chill and very friendly. Being an international student I'm always nervous before going in to an English class, however, she was very helpful and clear. I loooove Sarah Boggs and recommend this class to anyone who wants to learn and have fun at the same time
SARAH IS VERY LAID BACK, NICE & FUNNY. SHE IS AWARE OF HER OWN FLAW (DISORGANIZED AT TIMES) HER APPROACH FOCUSES ON YOUR INDIVIDUAL WRITING, NOT WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE TO OTHERS. IT ISN'T A DIFFICULT CLASS BUT SHE EXPECTS YOU TO DO YOUR WORK. TAKE HER!
Professor Boggs is seriously one of the best writing professors ive had, she is extremely helpful and caring, if you need to take a Writing course and she is teaching it, dont hesitate, take it!! even if its at 8. AM. Great Class in General

Unorganized. Didn't seem to have a Ph.D-level knowledge of English. Easy enough class, with a chance to resubmit all papers after receiving critiques from her for the paper's final grade. Extremely dull reading.
Dr. Boggs is an amazing professor! If you have to take writing 2, definitely take her class. She is super helpful and funny
I have to disagree with some of these comments, boggs really wants to help her students and is always there. she is a fair grader and gives you opportunity to improve. She is a great professor and i enjoyed her class. She really wants students to improve writing and it is a straight forward class.
boggs is so annoying... she's clearly dumber and also less professional than a typical middle school teacher. if you were ever to write something nice about fox news you'd fail the class. she'll go on and on about her personal life during class, sometimes for 10 or 15 minutes. there are lots of Writ2 professors, don't waste your time with this one!
Pretty much one of the least organized and most incompetent professors I've had. She had no idea how to lead the class or keep the topic focused, and wasted the students' time with mindless busy work and excessively long writing projects. Often missed class and had the TA teach, very unprofessional.
Great teacher. She really helps students build confidence with their writing skills. Probably the best writing teacher that I have ever had. Take her class!!
3 papers but she is so lenient! Attendance is mandatory. She tries to remember the faces of her students so go to class! Writing workshops are fun and helpful. She lets you write about whatever interests you! Grades on completion so just show up and do your work! :). She really cares about her students and tries her best during lecture 2makeitfun
Very nice lady. However there was never enough time to produce a rough draft. A rough draft was assigned and due next class. The readings were very abstract and extremely hard to write about.
Her class was easy, and frankly a waste of time, which was a catch, because if she actually knows who you are and you miss class she'll downgrade you just for that. One paper, easy. She picks favorites
it was nice to be greeted by a pleasant face at 9am, but i did not enjoy sarah's class. she picked favorites and used a very broad [and easily BS'ed] research paper as basically the only basis for our grade. class time seemed useless, we didn't get much done and left early all the time.
A solid amount of work but gets graded on completion more than quality
Sarah was a great teacher. I was not interested in writing at all but her class was one of my favorites. There is a lot of writing involved. It's a lot of work, but it is easy if you keep up with the assignments and go to class. She really helps you to improve your writing. Take her class!
Sarah was a really good teacher, I was not looking forward to this class at all but it was actually kind of fun. Kind of a lot of work but way easy, just make sure you go to class and turn in the assignments.
Lots of work but she does her best to be plesant, helpful, and understanding .... one of your better options as far as writing teachers go :)
LOT OF WORK INVOLVED, BE PREPARED! shes fun and talks a lot about her life...sadly, she can't spell.just be prepared to write a 2-page paper every Tuesday and Thursday and a big-ass one for her final....in other words,you are her **** for the quarter.
there's a lot reading and writing, but if you do the work, you'll get an A. the class is pretty laid back. the usual routine is just to read a passage, write the essay, and then go to class and talk about it. sarah seems to genuinely care about improving students' writing.
Sarah is a witty, laid back teacher, who communicates with students as if we were one of her friends! 2 Thumbs up for her effort into reading every single student's papers and giving personal comments/advices. Reading materials were interesting. Decent amount of writing work that was not too hard.
She was a really good teacher. Her class was very interesting and I feel extremely fortunate to have been able to hav her. Requires work but do-able. SHe is very reasonable and very nice. I felt like I actually learned alot about issues and I feel like a better writer. Do work= A
she rocks my socks! the subjects are very interesting and not too hard to read about. that basically helped the whole course and her being a great teacher was just a plus. very much recommended!!!
Super easy going. Expects assignments to be completed, but doesn't get mad if they're not good. She cancels class a lot
