Midterm is hard!!!!! FML!

This class was super easy. Lea is a really nice guy and makes sure everyone understands the material. He makes a lot of jokes, which are funny because they are not that funny. But take this class - easy A.

EASY class. Average teacher.

Great professor, awesome lectures. All around enjoyable. Very fair. Good course for english majors to fulfill requirement C (math/science).

Very knowledgeable and has done some excellent research. Do your problem sets carefully; they're worth a lot of points. He's not really as nice as he seems, in my opinion, but tries to be open and sensitive.

He was such a nice professor. His class was very interesting and easy to understand. Just go to lecture and do the homeworks which weren't too bad. highly recommend this class. The midterm was everything from lecture. i would take another one of his class.

Such a nice professor. Really engages with the students and encourages questions. Has some funny anecdotes and is very interesting and easy to understand... Grades extremely fairly and tests are pretty easy if you do the homework and go to lecture. Definately went to more of his lectures spring quarter than any other class =)

Very easy teacher! DO NOT BUY THE BOOK!!!!!!!!! Midterm/Final extremely easy if you pay attention in class. He's very willing to help you during office hours. dorky jokes..some boring lectures..but an easy class.

So great. Take his Oceanography class. It'll change the way you think about Geology. Dr. Lea is a crack-up, and he'll be glad to help if you don't understand something.

This class was totally great and such an easy A. If you attend lecture and take notes you are sure to do well. He tells you everything that is going to be on the midterm and final. Also, the subject matter is really interesting and he makes it very fun to learn.

great teacher, my favorite so far. i highly recommend this class and going to lecture because he tests on some stuff just from lecture. pretty easy too, just dont think its too easy and not study.

A very dedicated professor. He loves teaching and wants his students to UNDERSTAND, not just know, the material. Tries hard to make sure concepts are explained well and well reviewed. Flambouyant personality, you laugh just looking at him. Knows "Finding Nemo" well.

This class is very enjoyable. It is easy, there is not a lot of work, and the professor makes it very interesting. He also prepares you for the tests very well, there werent any surprises. Highly recommended.

I love this class. For anyone interested in doing anything that has to do with the environment, this class does a cool into to how the atmosphere and the oceans work. I loved the class.
