Great professor who is really passionate about what she does! Read and study the lecture slides and you will do great on the exams. If you need extra help, go to office hours, she's super friendly!

I think she's often midunderstood. She looks strict and mean but she's actually not bad. She has a slightly funky accent but nothing unbearable--except when she starts to talk fast. Midterms are ridiculously EASY(It's word for word from the lecture). If you're dedicated, you'll be great!

dr hegarty is very nice and helpful, but she is boring and a bit unclear in class.

Do no - I repeat, DO NOT take a class with this professor. Yes, she's very nice and all, but I was on the brink of stabbing my eye out with a pen just to get some stimulation!!! Oh yeah, the final is cumulative, material in her notes is unnecessary, and did I mention she's boring?!?! Stay away!!!

These ratings for her are off. The midterm and finals are pulled right off of the slides; she's hard to follow but you don't need to go to class because all of her stuff is online. The material is easy, not hard to understand. Easy Easy Easy.
