she is so cool. wonderful teacher, really enjoys teaching and you can tell. she's very knowledgable and easy to talk to.

I have Magda for first-year Arabic and she is probably my favorite professor here at UCSB. Her explanations are clear and she has an aura of high energy about her. She is not afraid to assign lots of homework and put students on the spot in class.

I love Magda. I was terrified when I started learning Arabic, but she really helped in learning the language. She was also very friendly and supportive outside of class.

She is a wonderful person and an excellent instructor.

A wonderful teacher! She is very dynamic in both personality and teaching style. She is very attuned to the students and always keeps thing interesting. Also she is hilarious.
