She did an amazing job at teaching my class. I absolutely loved having her and learned a lot despite having to drop the class mid quarter for personal reasons.
Cool Professor
Prof. Meyr is really one of the best. The class was tough for me as Spanish is not my native language. As long as I did the work and put in the effort it works out. There are the online WileyPlus homework assignments, the textbook readings, LinguaMeeting, and an in class participation. Be prepared and you won't be scared. Prof. Meyr made it easier!

Good professor, but very annoying. I felt like I was in a high school spanish class.
Justine is by far one of the best instructors I've had at UCSB. I took german 1 and 2 with her and it was so much fun. She made the material really interesting and understandable. Barely used the textbook. Homework was easy. She gets to know her students, and always offers help.
Justine is the best! She explains everything well and she tries her best to help everyone out. She makes powerpoints that are extremely helpful and I enjoyed coming to class because she made class interesting. I don't think she's teaching Spanish again, but she's teaching German 1 I believe so if you're taking that I recommend Justine
Justine is by far one of the best teachers I have had at UCSB. The Spanish Department really restricts the direction the class moves but Justine is always enthusiastic to help her students. She makes amazing power points to help, grades fairly, and is always available to meet. She goes above and beyond to ensure her students success!
Justine is an amazing professor. She is always available to answer any questions and really wants to see her students succeed. I have learned so much and am never bored in class! I would definitely request Justine again in the future with more language classes.
Justine is the best. Nuff' said. There really isn't anything else good I can say that hasn't been said already. Had her for Spanish 1, 2, and 3 and I'm so glad I did. Going to class is not only enjoyable, but also very useful and interactive. 50 minutes in class fly by so the fact that attendance is mandatory is not big deal.
Bottom line, if you have to take Spanish, your stupid for not taking it with Justine!

The best Spanish TA at UCSB. I am terrible at language, and Justine was the sole reason that I was able to make it through three quarters of Spanish! If you have a difficult major, take the class with Justine. She is very clear and most of the class is B.S. free. Bottom line, if you have to take Spanish, your stupid for not taking it with Justine!
You wont find a better Spanish teacher at UCSB than Justine. Her passion for teaching definitely shows while she teaches and will definitely show in how fun and enjoyable her class is.
