One of the nicest professors I've ever had. Extremely lenient grader, she gave the entire class an A+, A or a B. No Cs and everyone passed! Her lectures are difficult to understand because of her heavy use of difficult notation and the language barrier (she's French) but she's very helpful and kind. Would recommend!

Though she does not teach that well, it is probably due to the fact that it is her first time. She really tries to help the students and wants them to do well. She is extremely kind in her grading where I don't think many people actually failed. You will have to read the book and self teach yourself to do well.

Avoid! She is very well-intentioned and smart, but she simply cannot teach. She has difficulty answering clarifying questions. She doesn't use the textbook at all, and lecture diverges significantly. Tests are FAR more difficult than homework, which she acknowledges, and grading is confusing at best. If you have to take her, take CLAS.
