Professor Anagnoson was great. Pretty standard class for an introGE course. Not overly interesting and a lot of material that had been covered before in high schoolelsewhere. If you put in some effort he will help you do well. Definitely goes on random tangents during lecture but overall pretty good class.

Anagnoson was beyond amazing. Super knowledgeable, although lectures turned into his rants about his days working in the government. Only time I touched the books were for the papers. Gives you midtermfinal prompts beforehand. HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR A GE!!! Went to lecture 50% of the time & came out w a B+

Really funny guy and seems like a cool grandpa type guy. Goes off on meaningless tangents but does provide insight to the readings which can be tedious at times. First political science class I took and really enjoyed it. Not too hard, but definitely requires some work.

He is one of the nicest professors I have ever had and his class is not very hard although the assignments look scary at first glance. They will look hard, but he makes the TA's grade really easily, you just might have to read a little and be okay with a decent amount of writing. Overall, good informative class that isn't the easiest but is doable.

Professor Anagnoson is beyond great. He is extremely knowledgeable and shares a passion for what he teaches. He is very understanding so feel encouraged to seek his help. Class is not mandatory, but make sure to keep up with the reading. As long as you keep up with the reading, you can almost guarantee yourself an A. Take this course it is worth it

It's actually a pretty easy class. The tests are pretty forgiving and are graded easily. All short essay exams. Dont really need to attend lecture because he talks about stuff that's irrelevant to the class.

Extremely easy class you don't even need to attend lecture because he rambles on about nothing the whole time. He gives you all the prompts that will be on the final and midterm so you need to crack open your textbook 1 week out of the quarter. Midterm was an easy A. 8 page paper but that wasn't too bad. GPA booster.

Professor Anagnoson is a great professor. He is very knowledgeable and has a very sophisticated sense of humor. The material is interesting, and very helpful for basic political knowledge. I would take this class with him again.

So sad because he is such a nice guy & can be hilarious. That being said, the lectures were beyond useless; talks about his commutes & family. Powerpoints online. Reading is boring. I felt like study guide unrelated to class. Essay prompts difficult. He really is one of the nicest professors though, so I guess that alone would make him worth it.

He is pretty dry when he lectures, but he jokes a lot and when he does he is absolutely hilarious. The papers were hard and unclear. The final was hard because the study guide was all questions from the reading, barely any from lecture. I required a lot more studying than a normal class.

He's great. Lots of reading, but not so important because you get study guides for the midterm & final (short/long response) from which he picks questions. Section is important before tests because your own TA grades your exam, so when they go over the study guide, listen and on the test write down what they want! 1 paper due 8th week of quarter.

Professor Anagnoson is not only a great lecturer and wonderful motivator, but he is also an amazing human being. During finals week this quarter, I had to sell my book back early to buy food for myself. I told Professor Anagnoson my situation and he went out of his way to come on campus and lend me a copy. He is an extraordinary human being.

this guy is such a funny and interesting lecturer. i could listen to his stories all day- they're fascinatingly relatable because he's had actual experience in gov, which makes his talks all so much better. TAKE HIM!!

The guy is incredibly funny, but sometimes, I can't understand what he wants in his assignments. He seem to go on random tangents at times and when students ask him questions, he answers but in a really strange way. This class is pretty boring and has 2 papers and one final.

He's super interesting and probably one of the best professors I've had. No matter what he's talking about you won't be bored. The class wasn't super easy, but it's really straightforward and I feel like I learned a lot. Definitely take his class

Great teacher. His lectures are interesting and he is hysterical. He really knows his stuff. Do the study guide and you will excel on the tests.

Funnest class I had last quarter. I actually enjoyed attending class and section. Taught in a very Interesting way. Loved it.

Perhaps some of you who read this will be able to relate to me. I was a student looking to fulfill a couple of GE requirements, so I took this class. Surely enough, I passed, while only attending about 25% of lectures. Take home final is two short papers, not a difficult class by any means. Powerpoints posted online as well.

Best Political Science Professor thus far. Truly cares about his students and will give any additional help necessary to help them do well in the course. If you have the opportunity to take a course with him do it! make sure you do the readings.

Anagnoson is one of the best professors, he is incredibly funny and sarcastic about himself and politics. Public policy is not an easy class to make interesting but he does. 2 middies (papers), 1 final. Gives THE BEST feedback on questions of any teacher and genuinely cares about the topic and students' understanding. TA EG Garay is one of my fav's

Prof. Anag is hilarious. He replaced Prof. Wyner and sadly, I loved the class way more when Anagnoson started teaching. He goes on funny tangents about his life, but always pulls back together to thoroughly explain everything. PS12 is gov, so it's not super interesting, but Anagnoson talks a lot about current issues to illustrate real government.
