He relates really well to young people and makes a subject that could be awful fun. I love going to his classes he always makes jokes and makes you feel like you can always ask questions and speak up.
Prof. Miller is not bad. He's a nice guy and funny too. He puts the slides online so you don't have to go to lecture. Read the book. I got an A probably cause of that. All the material he covers in lecture is in the book, too. I would recommend his class.

I really didn't like him in the beginning, but his humor and teaching style kind of grows on you. The class material was really boring and dry, but he really tried to make the class as interesting as possible.
boring, goofy and is always showing us pictures of his kids. The tests suck but his videos are cool.
psych majors beware!!... the material is actually interesting. The book is not that bad. But when the time comes for his tests... be careful. Oh and try to do well on his 1st test bc according to him.. it's the "easiest" one...
Boring and the tests were all about tricking you. The times I actually went to lecture I ended up falling asleep...however I owned the textbook and got an A in the class. Don't be intimidated by the class or the competitive curve...put in your work and you will do fine! Dr Miller or any other prof...psych 7 is going to be the same! Goodluck :)
Professor Miller's a pretty good teacher, gets the point across. The lectures can get boring at times though. It's true that his tests are tricky, you're often caught in a 50/50 spot where you're not sure which of 2 answers it is. The curve should help but it's best to know as much as you can when you walk in for the tests. Book wasn't too great.
reading and lectures do not prepare you for his tests...i am sad because i need this class and i am failing and the thing is i study hard for this class and i still get bad grades on my midterms...i even use the textbook website...his tests are really hard and tricky...
this class isnt as hard as they say...its only hard because you know you have to get a B or higher...miller is a great teacher...you need to study hard for the tests but its manageable..dont be intimidated! just take good notes and go to his office hours and you'll be fine. recommended
dr miller is a nice guy, but this class was insanely hard. the book or the lecture notes dont prepare you at all for his hard tests. this class was worse than calculus if that tells you anything. he gives no study guide whatsoever to prepare you for the exams. lots of trick questions on the exam.
Extremely hard class. If you need Psy 7 to get into the major, don't take it from Miller. The tests are difficult. Nice guy, but the class is a struggle. You need to remember EVERYTHING from lecture and the book for his (3) tests. Utilize his office hours! Also, his specialty is cognitive memory...
Such a wonderful professor. I would definitely recommend him for Psy. 7. He makes class very entertaining.
Great teacher! If you take psych 7, take it from Prof. Miller. He is the most fair and makes lectures interesting. Smart guy.
Good teacher. Tests were very fair. In order to help us overcome the nasty curve, he kept the grades of the students who dropped the course in the distrbution. Very nice! Boosts everyones grade. Fair tests. Good, clear lectures.
very organized, it is a hard class, but if you keep up on it you can do well. He makes it interesting.
his tests weren't very well written, he had some questions that could have been anwsered in more than one way, and his anwser was the only rightone, even though the book had something different
organized. clear lecture, pluss he makes great eggs in the morning.
Very organized. Class material gets progressively harder as the course winds down, but take the time to see him during office hours, he's more than eager to give you what you need to know on his tests.
