Eric is the best instructor/professor/TA I have had here. He not only makes the concepts in Gen Chem so much more understandable, but he does it in a way that lasts. He provides incredible analogies and does it in such a humble and kind way. He deserves a raise and I have no clue how much he makes.
I didn't know hot people could be good at chem, and Eric is definitely the first person I've seen who is. He is such a great resource for understanding gen chem, his worksheets and explanations make the material so much easier to comprehend. If he was my lecturer, I would be a chem major because he's that pretty to look at. Attend his drop ins!!
I had Eric for CLAS, he is a great tutor! Detailed sessions that helped me understand the material so much better than actual lecture. He gives worksheets that are super helpful for chem exams. Style: 10/10 and overall very hot. DILF AF... like why can't he be my chem professor ugh
very good
The best instructor I've had at UCSB. If you take Gen Chem, take Eric's CLAS for all three. Strengths: knowledgeable, patient, kind, easy to talk to, the content and pacing are on point. The epitome of extracting what is important from the textbook and presenting it in a clear and concise way. Drawbacks: isn't your actual chem teacher.
Eric is a great tutor. His clas worksheets focus on information that isn't as obvious in lecture and the textbook.
I had Eric for CLAS and he is amazing. He knows what he's talking about and very approachable. If you want to fully understand Chemistry take it CLAS with him!
Great teacher
Amazing CLAS tutor! Saved my life in Ochem... Definitely would have failed without him. Not bad to look at either!
Eric is a phenomenal CLAS tutor. He breaks down concepts covered in lecture and gives examples about everyday life that make chemistry super easy to understand. He is very easy to talk to and just explains things very well. Also, he's hot.
He's an overall great CLAS teacher with experience as a Princeton Review instructor. He gives you shortcuts and tips to patterns. He provides worksheets and tables that group certain concepts into a clean understanding. Even if he isn't the CLAS instructor for your teacher it IS worth it to reserve him as your instructor anyway.
The best clas tutor known to mankind. Guaranteed A because of him.
Eric is the best CLAS tutor! He explains the concepts very well and creates helpful practice tests. He always hold reviews before major tests, which help out a lot!
Eric is very helpful and explains concepts very well. Wish he could teach the actual lecture but I would recommend taking his CLAS to further understand chem.
Very good looking and helpful but you can't stop go through a whole clas lecture without admiring his good looks.
Very helpful and easy to understand. Very good looking and fun to look at. Couldn't ask for a better person.
You will be lucky to get him for clas or as an instructor. He is very clear about what he wants you to know and explains everything crystal clear.
Eric is wonderful. He has a knack for explaining difficult concepts and makes rather dense material relatively understandable. He's also super nice and makes himself very available. I actually had him for a professor over summer and he was great. But the final was a little challenging. If he's your professor, make sure you go to lecture
Eric Engel is the best TEACHER of chemistry at UCSB. Too bad he doesn't actually teach the class and is instead a CLAS tutor. He's the man and the only reason hundreds of kids probably got through chemistry, he makes it so simple and only tells you what you need to know. If you have him for CLAS and still fail Chem just quit.
He isn't a teacher, but he is a CLAS tutor. This guy got me through general chemistry and actually made me love the subject. I got As on all my tests after taking him for CLAS. Chillest guy ever that covers material at a perfect rate.
