**** this guy, if u ever want to hear a joke in class, so ask a question, and he'll make an ass out of u. he is not helpful in any ****ing way possible and sucks at teaching, why is he even a professor?

Harris is a great teacher who teaches the important parts of chemistry, using repetition so you will never forget them. His tests come straight from his lecture, all it takes is a little patience to attend and sit through all of them.
this guy's lectures are positively painful to sit through. the good thing is, you can teach yourself from the book and do fine. i went to 4 lectures one quarter, and did well this way. his harsh outside really melts if you go to office hours.
If you didn't take chem in high school, then you are really screwed with Harris's chem 1A. He doesn't really go over things at all, and everything that I thought was important was not on the final. Avoid.

He is very confusing
tests are pretty easy....but he can't teach to save his life. Mumbles and rambles about things.
David Harris is the reason why I changed my major from biopsych to psych. He is the worst teacher I have ever had in my life. He is not helpful in the least and if you have a question in lecture you will be lucky if he doesn't make you feel like an idiot.
His tests are easy, but his lectures are confusing because he doesn't really explain things and expects you to already know stuff, if you want comedy ask a question in class
Hes funni as hell ... so that is pretty tight! but then what he teaches does not make much sense... and his writing is ugly... you'll have fun trying to figure out what he's writing on the board... he is pretty nice too tho
U might not know wht the **** hes saying but hes got the easiest grade curve, u cant fail harris
He's an **** to anyone who asks a question. Usually they are stupid questions though. He wears the same polo shirt and jeans outfit everyday, along with the sunglasses on his head. He used to dip rats in liquid nitrogen in grad school.

He is a horrible teacher. If you take his class don't bother showing up, just do all the book problems reccomended because his teachig is pretty much worthless.

This guy is pompous, and his teaching is weak. anybody can mirror the book and turn it into a gen chem course. compared to most of the other gen chem teachers he's ok though.
EASY TESTS......but he's boring
He doesn't appear to understand the material enough to be teaching it.
Puts problems on tests that are not even similar to practice problems
