Best teacher ever. Holmes is funny and makes lectures fun to go to. Easiest A I've ever gotten. No homework and easy tests.

Very funny and caring teacher. Lectures a little scattered sometimes, but if you asked for help or clarification, she is always very ready willing and able to steer the class in the right direction. I had taken a college level stats course in high school,

Very easy class. Cute little british accent and makes jokes. Go lecture and section and you will get an A even if you dont do the homework! (at least thats what worked for me)

This class is not easy at all! Do not take it unless you must! Midterm is easy but the final is so hard and the TAs don't speak english!This class ruined my life!

not easy but not difficult. there's things to remember but study the midterm/final review and you're set. also, get a good TA, some aren't up to par. she also cares a lot about improvement, so if she sees it, she might reward it.

I went into this class having not taken math in almost 3 years and all I did was go to class then taught myself everything the night before the midterm and final and got an A. If you study her review problems and practice midterms/final you will get an A! Holmes is delightful and very reasonable.

this class was cake. i missed lectures, didn't even buy the book or do homework. i studied for midterms/finals like 2 nights or the night before, and all i did was fill out the practice ones to study. i had help from CLAS (lubi is awesome!) and my TA hoon rhew was cool too. i got a high A.

DO NOT take this class unless you HAVE to or you are particularly good at math. Dr. Holmes is really nice and will explain anything if you go and see her, but jesus this class is hard. i worked my ass off and got a B-. Practice final/midterms are EXACTLY like regular ones. Do them!

Nice british lady. If you study the practice midterm and final and have a question.. and go she her at office hours. she will try her best to help you. Practice final and midterm very similiar to her real tests.

Basically, here is the breakdown. I missed at least 15 lectures out of I guess 30 and recieved a B in the class. If only I went to lecture and paid attention an A would not even be a question. Her practice tests--midterm and final are almost identical to her real midterm and final just study that.

she has a cute british accent that makes her lectures sound a bit more interesting, because everyone loves people with accents. her lectures are fairly paced--it helps a lot to go. she creates her tests wanting students to pass.

She sucked. Its soo boring and she starts off so slow then speeds up quickly. I did not enjoy taking this class. Maybe I just didnt like her teaching style. She tried to make jokes that sucked.

She sweet and cute. Class is a little slow at times. Doesn't like cell phones going off in class.

In B right now. B is much harder. She is very nice in person-go and talk to her! She says that 5A kids don't know very much math, so she makes the class easy. If you're in the 120 series, be ready for a different experience. Lots of F's. Class not hard th

Dr.Holmes gives great lectures, is very clear, and gives practive exams that are almost identical to the real thing.

Nice prof...keep up w/ HW & youll do fine. Practice midterms are practically identical to actual midterms.

Dr. Holmes is a solid teacher. The course is realtively easy is you do the homework, and keep up with it. Taking lecture notes is also helpful.
