I really loved this class and Stuart. He is extremely knowledgeable and I thought very helpful. I attended every class and never even bought the book and got an A. Make sure you really know his notes, don't just write down what he does because it can be confusing when you go back to it. Definitely would recommend this class.

Just like all the review say, you get graded on your writing, not on your answer. One of the worst teachers I've ever had.

This guy's lectures are incredibly disorganized. I don't know why economists can't teach. He is very picky about wording on tests, even when you get the answer right. Avoid at all costs!

beware: stuart is an incredibly unfair grader. very picky on answers and will not budge. doesn't matter if you know the concept bc if you use the "wrong" words, he will still fail you. DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS!

do NOT take this class!! he is extremely picky about your answers and even if you go into office hours every week you can still get a C in the class. He grades incredibly unfair even if you know the right answer.

Do not take!! Terrible professor. Thinks he is the greatest writer in the world. Rips you apart on the tests because the answers aren't worded how he wants it. Very unclear about what he wants on the test in terms of wording. Puts more weight on the actual writing than if you understand the concepts! And boring..... Take for an easy C class

Don't buy the book for this class because he makes up scenarios for his questions that the book doesnt go over. He gives you a list of 50 potential questions that will be on the midterm and final. He only selected 3 for each exam. It seems easy but even if you spit out exactly what he said in class he will still rip on your answer. oh and btw...zzz
