I told her ed20 course online. She graded all the assignments at the final week. I have to email the prof to let her start grading on my groups assignments. I have emailed her 2 times before, and she did not even reply.
This is the greatest class ever. Only meets 5 times the quarter, the only assignment is a 2 page paper. Plus, you get to learn a lot about law school and what it is really like being a lawyer. If you are thinking of going into law, you need to take this class!
awesome at teaching legal writing- she thinks she's God's gift to the legal profession, but if you can get over that, she does a great job giving you the information you need to succeed in the class. FYI: don't take this class at 8am unless you are a TOTAL morning person
If you think this class is challenging then stop thinking about law school. She spoon feeds you all you need for papers, and the textbook is helpful too (if you bother to read it). She does have her favorites, but she won't grade you harder if you're not one of them. If you actually are interested in law, you can learn something.
The course structure was pretty weak, as were Robin's qualifications to teach. I wish the department would recognize student complaints and do something about this pompous instructor. Attendance is mandatory, but it won't help your grade...only her favoritism seems to count.
Class and lecture are useless. She uses "this is the way law school will be" as an excuse for her entirely unplanned lectures and lack of teaching and/or intellectual ability(ies). Genova is way better! Who inflated this woman's pathetic ego? Oh well, i'm sure this rating will dissapear as either her or her friends will flag it...

She thinks she's Queen. We are students and she needs to realize that. She rambled about several useless tangents during class, at a time they were OK but then became copious and redundant. Doesn't seem to be too happy when she lectures. Can give you a gruesome, deadly look if you approach her. Who put sandpaper on her toilet seat?

it's a pretty easy course if you just play her games and feed her ego...straightforward, lots of rambling, feeds you grades...needs a harsh dose of reality if you ask me. she will help you, but i think she's only doing it to help herself feel better & boost this pristine image she has of herself...
She comes off as a hardass and thinks shes the****. Won't give you the time of day if you go to see her in office hours, and usually is late to everything. More of a feminist than anything.
Apparently the person below me didn't pay much attention in class. All you have to do is show up and listen, she tells you exactly what you need to do. She can be a little specific about how she grades but she tells you exactly how to do it. She also gives a lot of extra credit. Not a hard class to do well in.
Needs to pick either being a lawyer or being a professor. Has no time for helping students. Told me that she wouldn't read over my final paper so I had no idea if what I was doing was right or not...didn't do as well as I felt I deserved for the ridiculous amount of work I put into the class...
Great prof, she knows the topic and explains it well. If you can't do well in her class you have bigger problems. 40% of the class was graded pass/no pass or section attendance and she gave 8% extra credit. She does want you to talk in class, if that scares you too much maybe you are pursuing the wrong career.
Although she can come off a little hard at times, it's not meant to be "demeaning" to you. She tries to help you rather than fight you. Just needs to be a bit more approachable and relaxed when talking to students.
She gives out lots of extra credit, but she is inflexible with grading. Funny and nice. She knows that most people in LawSo want to go to law school, and she wants us to be ready for it!! you can't expect to do well in law school if you don't read or think. Hi Robin! I really liked your class!
wow, i've never met a teacher this condescending befor. being a lawyer has scarily inflated this woman's ego to a pathetic extent. anyway, her class isn't hard but that's mainly because she has no style or finesse for teaching...if you can tolerate this and her lack of structure, go for it...

I hope some of these reviews came from girls that think Robin is hot. Either way it's good to know everyone's on the same page, including her because I know you're reading this Robin. You're a good teacher too.
Great teacher to take this class with. Tells you what she wants out of you, grades very fairly, and shes frickin hot.
Absolutely fabulous professor. Instead of complaining some of you should learn how to write. Yes she grades hard, this is college and if you can't write you will fail. If you need help, Robin is very willing and able to help you out. Shut up, get a brain and quit complaining. You're supposed to learn for good grades not have them given to you!
