Professor Ji is excellent, his classes are usually entertaining and he has a very friendly manner.

Prof. Ji is as smart as he is kind. He visits at least one of your sections, always makes things easy to understand, and is extremely funny. He has a genuine passion for teaching - especially things relating to Chinese culture and history. You won't regret taking a History or EACS class with him.

I took this class in summer. He gave a mid-term, a paper and a final. In each of the exams, 20% is for multiple-choices and fill-in-the-blanks, and 80% for an essay. He won't tell you the essay topic in the exam beforehand, and wants you to guess the topic, so that you can figure out what is important. He is good at explaining the history of China.
