Loved her too!! She teaches you a lot about sport soc and is super easy. Movies, guest speakers, All ppoint lectures which are all posted online. 4 exams which are great non accumulative. VERY EASY. just skim reader and memorize ppoint lectures. :)!!

LOVED her! Sad that this is her last year teaching. Class was interesting and her test weren't hard. She was super helpful during office hrs and pretty much told me what I needed to know for test

I love Dale. She lectures off of power point slides but you need to read the textbook because she asks things on the tests that you wouldn't think would be on there. There is also a reader you need to get. Offers extra credit at the end of the quarter. Great class.

Class can be boring but is an easy A. She tries really hard to get people excited about the material and you can tell she loves teaching. Posts all of the pp's online but attendance is mandatory. Tests are all multiple choice and very to the point

Funny woman. Material was a little dry at times and the reading was rather extensive (textbook + reader). That being said, all of the powerpoints are posted online and the tests (there are 4) are fairly easy. Attendance is mandatory. Gives a fair amount of extra credit at the end of the quarter

Loved her! She really cares about the subject and has interesting lectures to make sure her students understand. Her powerpoints are online and test questions are taken directly from those so really easy to study, the book isnt too important but the reader is! She did not take attendance this quarter. 4 equal tests thats it. Taking her again!

Dale's class is super easy. Her slides are really straightforward and organized. Her tests are really easy too as long as you read the READER and go over slides (they're online). Attendance is mandatory and takes off 1% for each day missed which is the only thing that sucks.

This class is EASY. Prof Dale is really organized and writes really fair tests. She is a cool lady who connects with her students really well. We watch a lot of cool videos in class and have interesting guest speakers. Attendance is manditory

Easy class. Read the reader and go over the powerpoints and class isn't a difficult A. Take class with her if you want an A

The coolest lady at UCSB. She is very down to earth and talks to the class as if she were on the same level. Do the readings and you will get an 'A' with no problems.

I felt as if I were losing IQ points every time I went to class. Many of the topics she lectured about sounded bogus. 80% of her material is dated prior to 1980 and don't necessarily apply to today's world. Treated us like we were in grade school and didn't reply to emails. BUT, this is the easiest class ever if you read the reader and AS notes.

Great professor. Truly cares about the content and students. Not a dificult class, but a lot can be learned. Better than most professors at this school who only care about having their names published in a journal

Very straightforward class. Attendance is mandatory, but it's only in Embarcadero Hall in IV. Read all reader articles (intersting) and chapter summaries and you'll do fine. Cool chick that randomly likes to relive her glory days during lecture as a near olympic sprinter and will mention her national champion karate son. Love it.

This class was easy and interesting. Dale is a good teacher and all it takes is a little studying before the tests to do well in the class.

Easiest 2 units ever. As long as u go to class regularly and study maybe an hour before the 2 exams should not have trouble passing. Don't waste your money on the book, its not needed. Some of the class speakers are interesting

Dale makes the class harder than it should be but it is a very good class and useful information. If you know details from the reader and memorize your notes, it shouldn't be too hard to get an A.

i got an A is this class beacsue of the curve and extra credit, the reader is key in this class lecture sometimes and the u gottaknow some specifics from the books. big class lot of joks good curve

Lectures can be very repetitive and make the class seem very easy, but don't be fooled, the tests are usually very in depth and have little to do with lectures. Read VERY thoroughly and you will do fine, but if you just rely on lecture notes for tests, you are in big trouble.

This class is easy forsheezy. If you show up, and take a look at your notes before the tests, you'd have to be a moron not to pass.

Wide lady, with a tendency to be repetitive..Her tests do not reflect the easiness of her lectures...Make sure you read the TEXTBOOK>>>b/c the rest is common sense..Bring an open mind and a CLose Jacket...b/c the Embarcadero Hall is colder than a mother(&^^%...Have fun!

This is probably the most boring class ever,i would rather take PSTAT than this. The prof. does none of the teaching. The most ridiculous thing about this class is the tickets that you have to get comming in and out of the class. Truly a waste of time. on the plus side.. SOME of the guest speakers are interesting.. but overall very boring class
