Very confusing lectures, I did not learn anything about Sport Management. He only talk about himself and his personal experiences.

Ridiculous class. I do not expect an easy A in any UD class, but I do expect fairness and a clear overview of what is expected. He wants to make it hard so he looks like a real prof. so he just throws bs at you. Not recommended.

Teaches real world lessons, not a class on theory. Most of what I've used in the real world comes from his class. "Art of War" has been an asset in some of my office settings. Live and breathe his life lessons. That way you can look back on life and say 'sweet'. Don't forget about the 'circle' of life.

Best professor I have had at UCSB. The only classes that will actually prepare you for life after college. Both 130 and 140 are definitely must take classes for students before they graduate. Always helpful and willing to connect you with others or offer advise to help jump start your desired profession. Take it!

very good instructor, teaches you real life lessons and how to succeed in the real world. Took both the 130 and 140 class, both interesting, he makes the class fun by making jokes and ragging on people, but don't take it personally, its part of the fun.I would highly recommend taking one of his classes before you graduate. Exams straight from notes

Ridiculous class. Grades like a pompous ass. If you are a baseball player or you know him you will get A. If not, you will get B. Takes of points on every project for ridiculous things. Arrogant man who loves to make fun of others. Had straight A's going into class now I don't. If you looking for A's dont take this class if you just want B take it

He has a lot to say, be awake b/c he will choose someone randomly and use them as an example and ask u ques. Go to class, he takes role & DON'T BE LATE!!! doesnt like to be interupted. Nice guy, likes 2 tell stories & always mention the "10 figure guy!" i can hear that guys name again! likes to talk about himself.STUDY! tests are a lil difficult.

THE funnest class i've ever taken. ferrer is a funny man and makes the lectures amusing. no-brainer class. memorize lecture notes and spit it back out during the exams. definitely take this class before you leave UCSB.

i think this guy is the biggest ass in the world. he is a dumb coach who has read a few too many self-help books. his obnoxious name dropping sopils the experience and is way too repetitive. the "10 figure guy" doesn't exist. he takes everything too far and i think the material could be taught better by someone more professional.

he is such an amazing person. if you really get to know him, he is willing to help you plan your future and find the path which most will facilitate your success.

Jim Rome meets the classroom, bring your arguments and dont suck. If you like sports and your not a softy -take the class and ask him to discuss his dissertatation on the curve ball, besides the name dropping great guy and you will love the class !! Enjoy

Ferrer is a great person not just a teacher. Hes willing to help anyone who asks for it and his top priority besides talking about himself is to help his students succeed in life anyway. very insightful and knowledgable, and yes he is a little full of himself but thats just him

He is pretty funny I guess but I dont like how he always tells us how to live our lives and stuff! I heard the other class is better though!

Ferrer is a great teacher. He definitely has the air of an old baseball coach. Rags on people, but is rather respectful of females. That and if you appreciate the stuff he teaches, you are sure to have a great time. But don't arrive late.. thats the only thing i can suggest

Al's a Bi*#h, most arrogant **** instructor I've ever had. His class is like a curch gathering, where he is God and expects to be worshipped accordingly. Show up late, or dont memorize his words, and expect the wrath of Ferrer.

Great lecturer. Old baseball coach and treats students like players by "ragging" on them for all kinds of stuff. Its straight up memorization. Very interesting lectures. 130 is art of war and i highly recomend it. Most of the memorization is pretty common sense & doesnt take that much to remember
