Although this class was Hebrew 1, I definitely felt sorry for the few students that did not know any Hebrew. The class is taught based on the assumption that you have some background knowledge of the Hebrew language, and half the students taking it ALREADY KNEW Hebrew. Expect to do a lot of work on your own. She is a nice lady though.
Sara is a great teacher. She is Israeli, so her Hebrew is obviously perfect. She is also very knowledgeable about the language in a scholarly way. She is fun and great at teaching.
Sara is the most amazing teacher I've ever had. She is incredibly helpful and really cares about her students.
Sara is amazing! One of the most patient, amicable professors I've had. She is great. You get out what you put in...Don't blame anyone but yourself for the fact that you're failing. You clearly aren't studying. The prof repeats things SLOWLY, has office hours daily, offers tutoring, and the book is clear. It's YOUR fault if you don't get it.
The class isn't too hard but Sara isn't too great of a teacher. She's unclear and you need to do A LOT of learning on your own. I absolutely love hebrew, but Sara is slowly but surely making me hate it. I dread going to her class
Take Sara! She is a great professor and this class is good if you (speak hebrew) need extra units and want a good grade.
Great Professor, highly recommend her
Sara is really helpful inside and outside of class. She goes out her way to make sure students understand the material. She is a fair grader. She truly enjoys her subject and that is displayed every day in class.
Shes Sara Wheeler, take her class you'll enjoy it
Sara's great. She's really nice and fair when it comes to grading. She's always eager to help and even encourages us to call her at home if we have questions before a test. She treats us like adults and tells us stories about Israeli society. It's obvious that she really cares. Tests throughout the quarter and then a final. Lots of conversation.

Sara is a great teacher. Her class gets more challenging as the quarters pass but I have really learned a lot and love taking an intimately sized class. We really get to know everyone in the class and learn a new language at the same time.
She is very fair and best of all she tells you what's on the test so you always know what to expect. I never feel bored in her class.
She's great, really jumps into Israeli society and tries to share as much of it as she can with the students. She has her political opinions but allows others to speak their own.
