When I went it wasnt too bad but that wasn't often. She is a good prof its just a semi boring course. Shakespeare...been there done that!

Fumerton was the worst professor I had at UCSB. I was a consistent A/B student at UCSB and I got a D- in that class. Shakespeare shouldn't be that difficult!

I couldn't stay awake in this class.

great pace, the work, reports and presentations all flowed nicely. her knowledge is incredible and her ability to present the material in an entertaining way is fantastic. Also, the way she ended class on the last day was with a slide of her full body x-ray was powerful and a great reminder of the precious time we have.

I loved her slideshows. She always brought depth and outside as well as personal research into the Shakespeare class.

Fairly interesting shakespeare class, lots of film clips to show different interpretations of the plays. Tests are impossible if you only read cliff notes (lots of ID the speaker questions) so know the dialog in the plays pretty well.
