Nick is easy going in discussion and is great at getting conversation started. However, he's a tough grader on the essays and it's kind of stupid how he's not allowed to read essay drafts - I think it'd make sense that he'd read them so we can be on target with our stuff, but I guess not. Supposedly he's the toughest TA for FLMST46.

Good instructor - likes to interact with the class (get their opinions, ideas, etc.). Fairly heavy load of work, but mostly reading, and he gives you a schedule of what he wants read by when (very helpful). Midterm/final can be difficult if you lack a general understanding of everything in the course, and a specific understanding of key topics.

I took Nick Pici for summer session 07. The class was great. I found him interesting and engaging, but you will have to read the material and be prepared to analyze it. The work load was not excessive. He covered historical context quite a bit, and I found that interesting. I'd have no hesitation in a taking a class with him again.

Strenuous work load, and long class bores me to no end.

By far, one of the most aggravating human being I've ever met. He takes the writing class entirely too seriously and loves the sound of his own voice. He gives quizzes at the beginning of each class, and you have .063 seconds to go to the restroom during the class "break." He assigns far more reading than necessary for the class...

One of the best TAs I have ever had. He was so helpful and was willing to meet with students at any time. He was well prepared and supplemented his own knowledge to what was being taught in class. This definitely clarified some of Prof Waid's craziness! He was not too hard and very fair. Hott....

very good section leader and is pretty laid back with grading. likes to bring other material not used in class (i.e. poems, reviews, etc). likes to discuss and has reviews. he's a very hard working TA (unlike most others). i don't know why he got bad reviews. he's a pretty good teacher/TA; he is enthusiastic and available for help.

The prof for the course, Corum, is awesome...Pici, the TA, equally so--and a babe to boot.

real genuine and intelligent guy. papers are a bit tough, and for the last couple there's a LOT of reading, but you can't really blame him for that. dont know what else i can say; i couldnt really have asked for a better english teacher.

Nice and genuine type of guy. I thought the papers he had us write were pretty cookie cutter and I felt trapped in the formatting. A class you gotta take though, so you might as well suck it up.

Class was kind of lame (professor was nuts... Candace Waid...) but he was so much help. He was always willing to read over papers or review things covered in lecture with you at almost any time. Plus hes not bad to look at and has a good sense of humor.
