shes tough but ultimately fair. demands a lot from students but is always willing to help and is very understanding.
Take the class with her if you want to learn about business writing. She's a fair grader and always willing to help. You'll definitely get what you deserve in this class.
This was my last class at UCSB and I am SO glad I took it with Mizrahi. If you want to learn business writing/communication..take it with her! She is not like most professors...she actually had a real job for most of her life! So she knows her stuff. For the people who rate her low..stop procrastinating!Turn in work on time and you'll be fine
she's a tough teacher and expects a lot, but if you go to class and ask for help, she'll be more than happy to give you feedback. i'm pretty sure going to office hours and showing interest helped me get an A-

Difficult, the letter "A" is not in her vocab, basically do all the work and expect a B..unless you are a complete idiot. Learned a lot about what it takes to survive in marketing. Would recommend if you want to learn, unlike all the other writing teachers at UCSB
Mizrahi is one of the hardest teachers I have had at UCSB. She grades assignments harshly but she does it for a reason - to help with the Bus. Plan. I can say that this course was one of the most satisfying and rewarding courses I have taken. But be prepared to put in 60+ hours outside of class devoted to the Bus. Plan.
This professor is too picky with little things, she takes points off for little things. Too hard to get an A for this class, don't take this class with her.

She does not treat the students equally. She is not even a business person but thinks she has the best ideas for business plans. She is a difficult person to deal with. I would not recommend her ever !!
shes completely fake, and doesnt want to ACTUALLY help anyone. she doesnt explain what to fix to get an A and is way too picky about stupid stuff. obviously thinks shes gods gift to writing. dont take her unless you are a COMPLETE brownnoser and think u can win her over
Her expectations are really high and she did a really crappy job putting groups together to do a quarter-long project worth like 40% of your grade. I actually enjoyed writing before this class sucked all the life out of it. Her lectures were pretty much just instructions, I had to learn everything from examples.
Great professor, makes you think. Kindoff a hard class, but you just have to do your work.
Mizrahi is a B---- - extremely difficult class - asks way too much for you to do, especially if you are taking hard classes
asks too much of her students, but it's for our own good. always willing to help out even when i took her over a year ago...good person
this class was really helpful. a lot of reading, but it's not difficult and takes little time. she makes you write your personal statement for grad school and then will go over it with you to make it better. it's a very interesting class if you like the medical field

she asks to much!
She gives lots of reading and summarizing for homework but in the end your grade is based on the team project. I got a B on the project and only turned in 3 out of ~15 assignments and ended up with a B.
