This class was pretty easy. Just pay attention in class and go over the book and the chapters she assigns the night before the test. Not a lot of studying necessary. She grades the class really well in the end. I got two B's on the midterms and got an A in the class. She isn't annoying and knows what she is talking about. I am taking her for 101L.

While the class was not quite as easy as I thought it would be, if you want an A and are willing to put in some work it's definitely do-able. Attendance is mandatory as it is part of your grade. 2 written exams that require a little memorization from textbook and class attention, the rest is class work and compiling a first aid kid. Straight forwar

I took this class as a senior for fun but it was a huge disaster. Ceriale is like a robot when she lectures, hypocritical about what she eats and tells you to eat, completely rude when you attend office hours or ask for help, and her tests are written to confuse you. I could've learned more from Wikipedia in 10 minutes than I did the entire quarter

Great teacher, very informative. Background stories about her husband and sons were cool. Just pay attention and go to class.

Not a very good teacher, makes the material more boring than it should be by only reading off of slides every single class. The tests are very hard because there is a lot of specific information and it's all fair game and she does not give you any study guidelines. I recommend taking it with someone else

the class is pretty easy.. but she is very well the worst teacher ive ever had, at any level. doesn't seem to really know or care about the material.. doesnt write her own slides, and doesnt even preview the slides prior to class. simply reads right off the powerpoint.. only interesting part of the class is when guest lecturers come in.. easy 'b'

This was her first year teaching the class and she used slides and quizzes from Romeo. That was annoying cuz she didnt know the material and the quizzes didnt always match up to what she talked about. Definately go to the review sessions if offered before the tests. Beware she loves to talk!!! about things you dont care about

this is a good, strightforward, easy class for three credits. only thing is you HAVE to go to class, towads the end of the quarter it is ALL guest lectures, just go, take notes, and you will be fine on the tests. if you go to class you can easily get atleast a B, material is super easy there is just a lot of it

As long as you go to class and listen, it's an easy grade. Book was mainly used for review from her lectures for the tests. I didn't find her to be rude and as long as you do what is asked of you for the class, it's easy.

This class and Ceriale are great if you enjoy an overweight woman self-righteously telling you what to eat and then ridiculously tricky tests to assess your knowledge of the information. If that's your bag and you decide to take this class, do not buy the book. The tests are based solely on lectures. Oh, and she takes attendence.

i actually found her very unhelpful and rude when i went to office hours. i felt like i was in her way. exam should have been easy, and it was to a point, but she writes the answers very weird-- the class average was a 70% on the midterm and should have been way higher. she does offer lots of extra credit
