He's a great teacher and really seems to know his stuff. On the first day he assigned a long list of really hard problems, but there wasn't a due date on them and we didn't have to turn them in. There's homework due once a week, and if you keep up with it, the tests will be easy. He has a strange sense of humor and a funny accent.
the guys really into graphs plus web stuff - its not too hard if you keep up with the problems - saucey sock puppet stuff is OK - be reddy to be offended - check out his web-posted evals 1st
This guy is old, but seems to know his stuff. Although this was supposed to be a very theoretical class there were lots of really nifty practical applications, like how a motel owner can always squeeze someone extra in by juggling the room assignments.
Teaching was fine but Smurf jokes were ethically offensive. He's from another country (Coneyburg?) so maybe he didn't get it. Both midterms, final easy but homework was a ****.
Has a funny accent and seems to be off in his own space half the time. Assigns tough problems but there is no time limit on handing them in.
Every lecture, he'd start it with a list of problems which were really hard. Even by the end of the quarter, we couldn't solve some of them. If you're going to assign problems, make sure that they are doable!
For a good time call 1-805-555-DAVID and ask for the cube . That bunny really hops!
The problems were pretty hard, but it felt good when I could solve one. He's got a cute beard.
He is helpful when he is in the office.
