Lectures/content from Yang are very disconnected from the rest of the Math 4B lectures. He focuses on proving solution methods for differential equations rather than teaching about their applications. He never posts anything online aside from homework assignments and some announcements, so don't expect any public lesson plans. Do not take.

I honestly should've switched out of his course after reading the reviews. He does not have structure in his class. He also doesn't have anything on the canvas page only the syllabus which doesn't seem to say much. I didn't know what was expected and honestly, learned more from the TA than him.

I've taken Diff Eq in high school, with an A+. Fengrui doesn't grade homework, use a textbook, or give directions on exams. He clearly has no interest in teaching and shouldn't have a teaching position at any university. He displays an appalling disregard for his students' education. He simply doesn't care. His Canvas page is also completely blank.
