PC's courses are hard, but if you really pay attention in lectures, read through his posted notes on any challenging concepts, and do your homework problems with care and intention (and maybe 1 or 2 extra problems before tests), you will be able to succeed. This was his first time teaching the course, so difficulty was a little too high.
Reaction engineering was a rough class for me but Professor Christopher does his best to help you in this class. I appreciated that he was available beyond office hours so I could write energy balances until I was blue in the face—no calculators or notes on exams which is rough but its supposed to be intuitive.
