Your participation is heavily required and graded. Honestly, watch out since she will not help you after the first week of classes if you have issues with iClicker. Most notably, the participation, attendance, and comportment of other students WILL affect your grade i.e; she will lower your grade if other people talk or leave early.

Super easy class. Ended up forgetting to take a quiz and received an automatic 50%, yet still ended with an A+. Prof Holmes wants everyone to get an A so if you take all of the quizzes and go to the performances you should be fine (have to pay $40). Didn't seem too interested in the subject though, complained about the topics lol

Stay up to date with modules! iClicker attendance heavily impacts your grade so GO TO CLASS! She wants you to get an A, so just put in the work. In-class pop quizzes, so that's another reason to go. Required to attend performances downtown too (you have to pay but not $$). Final online. Easiest GE. Definitely recommend!

Sometimes has interesting lectures and very understandable but constantly says how she doesn't know much abt what she teaches. It's nice that she knows there's more for her to learn but her wording/ teaching style makes it feel like she just teaches to have a job. Easy class, except you have to pay for performances.

Easiest GE I have ever taken ever. Attendance is mandatory and worth a lot of your grade so go to class. Three online exams and a reflection paper. You also also required to go to three shows they are downtown so if you don't have a car you will have to bus. I missed a whole test on accident and still passed with an A. lecture lowk boring but go.

Easy GE, just lowkey the performances are very annoying and you have to pay money for them. 2 mandatory performances, 1 short reflection paper, and iclickers with a few pop quizzes in class so its best to just attend every class if you can. Super sweet, chill teacher, the layout of the class is just kinda confusing.

She knows the class is an easy A, but try not to disrespect her y'all. She's way to kind and caring to be totally ignoring. Just hack your iclicker if you don't want to go.

This professor was awesome and imo too nice. It's supposed to be an easy-A class, but I felt I personally didn't gain as much from the class as I could have. Respect the subject / be interested if you're taking this class!

I really liked prof Holmes! she was really sweet and cares about students grades. we have 3 outside performances (2 downtown 1 on campus) which were kinda annoying but they were pretty entertaining. we had maybe 3 online quizzes (one which is the final) fully open note and easy. very easy GE!

Dance 45 was an easy class but sometimes boring. Must attend three performances which were miserable but class has no homework other than 1 one-page essay analyzing one of the performances. Mandatory attendance based on iclicker but overall very easy class and highly recommend as a GE.

Class is an easy A and she knows it. No midterm or final, but you must attend 3 dance performances (and pay for them yourself) and write an essay about 1 of them. Attendance is done through iClicker which is geo-located to the room. Holmes is very particular about late work, but that typically isn't an issue as assignments can be finished quickly.

3 mandatory performances that you had to pay for ($60 total). iclicker questions every class and had geolocation so you have to go to class. No final but 3 quizzes that are all open note but VERY specific so take good notes on her lectures. She's very passionate but very strict and not accommodating to students that have conflicts with performances
