Mr. Harris was a nice person. I respect him. He never announce how nice he is.but he treats every student nice. I'm not native speaker, he was very pation to explain my questions. and care about every student. One class mate said she took 138B was cos Mr. harris is so nice.and easy class. Thanks Professor Harris.

His lectures genuinely do not relate to the homework as much as they should to the point where a majority of people do not go anymore. Homework takes up to 15 hours a week and the test is timed to 3 hours with as much material as the test. The research paper is the best part of this class honestly, he needs to teach actual material more.

The professor himself is quite nice and very clearly wants to teach his students. However, his choice of in-class material versus what the homework involves is very different. He also expects homework to take up to 15 hours a week, lots of work for very little reward. Needs to break it down into simpler, smaller concepts so we learn

Despite this being his first quarter teaching, I thought he did a good job. His lectures are boring, but he said he's going to try to fix that next year. The midterm and final were online but semi-proctored and hard. There's a research paper but you get extra credit for submitting early. He is accommodating and gives a lot of a good career advice.
