Professor Ramirez is very passionate about the course material, the class is engaging. Homework assignments 2-3 times a week, with 2 midterm projects and 1 final. The workload is very doable. I would take him again!

Dr. Pimienta keeps being an amazing professor. If you're into creative writing in Spanish, this is the class for you. Grading is a little strict, but as long as you put some effort you'll get a B. Assignment heavy weeks 2-5, then it eases weeks 6-10 as you'll only focus on your final project and review your peers. No exams, highly recommended!

Loved his lectures!!! Most classes I never needed to take my laptop out for notes since he is more of a disscussion, visual, and hands on professor. We had many activities in class that put the learning theme into perspective. Overall, great class, weekly assignments, but most were videos, short stories, and writing projects.

Very funny and chill professor. Dr. Pimienta has very interesting lectures and the content is very interesting. No exams, but you do have a final project. 2-3 weekly assignments, some readings, videos to watch, has clear grading criteria for assignments and the TA grades fairly. Highly recommended as an easy ethnicity GE, just put in some effort.

The professor is very passionate about the topics taught and uses his own experiences to make the lectures more interesting. He is very understanding and makes the lecture enjoyable. Weekly assignments, but they are very light, and many are videos. Great over definitely recommend.

If I could academically marry this professor, I would. He's passionate, kind, funny, and relatable. His lectures are always entertaining and informational. His selection of topics is just *chef's kiss* Absolutely recommend taking ANY course that is taught by him.
