Cedar was only ok. The other TA, Morgan Brown, was exponentially better in my opinion. I know this because Morgan covered for cedars section a few times. Cedar was not engaging. Cedar also made things very political and uncomfortable, frequently having section and class meetings themed around the UAW strike and her support of Palestine.
Cedar was obviously very passionate about linguistics. Their lectures were entertaining and he was very focused on people being able to grasp the material. There were no tests except at the end which was open note and very doable. All in all this class was interesting and easy!
I believe Cedar is a grad student who taught a class for the first time. I felt they were incredibly engaged and spent quality time creating the lectures. The class was honestly very easy but I enjoyed it a lot and would recommend it!
