Very unprofessional, refuses to take accountability for her mistakes no matter what. She is also very socially awkward, she will randomly stare you down with a straight face without saying anything as a way to dismiss you during meetings. She is extremely insecure about her class and becomes really sensitive if you don't go to her lectures.

She is one of the kindest professors at UCSB. This class is inspired me to continue to taking classes in fem studies.100% would recommend this class to anyone whos can have an open mind to new perspectives on their life and challenge traditional ways of thinking. If you participate, she will make the effort to connect with you as a student.

I could not recommend more! Attendance was mandatory, but I always looked forward to lecture, they were well organized, relatable, engaging and very easy to understand. Everything in this class was applicable to real everyday life and genuinely changed the way I think about the world.

This professor clearly cares a lot about all of her students. Attendance matters, but the lectures are interesting most of the time anyways. The assignments were quite easy and straightforward, they will not hold you accountable if you accidentally miss a reading here and there. If you want an easy A with a kind hearted professor, take this class.

This class was extremely easy and very interesting to learn about. I would not suggest taking it if you are not open to new ideas about the modern world.
