This class was horribly painful, but Anatoliy definitely pushed us to understand the content fully. HW/exams were really hard and often discouraging, but TAs are lifesavers. He provided us lots of study material, which I appreciate. He needs to have more office hours, since a lot of people could never go, but he was responsive to emails.

Tough but fair. He is a great lecturer, who makes you work hard but rewards your effort. Didn't use the evil mastering physics except for pre-lecture quizzes, which made homework challenging but overall more fun and connected to exams. Goes over homework problems in detail in office hours, which is very helpful. Posted a lot of practice exams.

He is a good lecturer and a pretty nice guy. I am just a little upset by how unnecessarily difficult the class turned out to be. Really hard homework. The average on the midterm and the final were both about 63%, he told us he might give us a huge curve but the actual curve was much lower than promised with only 26% of students getting A- or above.

Good lecturer, and I really appreciate his willingness to have review sessions prior to the midterm and final exams. Homework is quite difficult and is graded relatively harshly, but assistance from the TAs and classmates helps to better understand the difficult material.

The best physics professor I've had, which may not be the highest bar, but Dr.Dobvnya surpasses it by leaps and bound. Go to office hours!!!! The class is hard, but he really tries his best to make it as digestible as possible and his exams are fair. The homework can be time consuming, but it really does help with learning. Highly recommend!!

This guy absolutely rules. It's a tough class, but he was so accessible to go over any problems you might have. If you are on the fence about taking a physics class and see that this dude is teaching it, take the class. I declared for a physics minor because this class banged so hard.

He has a good teaching style, good lectures that go through the material thoroughly so you aren't left guessing about concepts. I highly recommend to go to office hours as he goes through homework problems one by one (he doesn't solve them but gives hints and procedures). Super nice guy, very approachable. Really made the subject interesting.

It's week 3 but judging by these homework assignments, it's never been more over. Good luck everyone!
