Instructor was rude and unpleasant through the entire quarter and never gave credit for canvas mistakes they made. Do not take classes with this instructor.

She is not responsible. For example, she had us write a close reading revision based on the comments that she was supposed to publish. However, she failed to do her job, delaying the due date but still couldn't publish publish the comments or (any grade from the very first assignment) in a timely manner, yes, not until the updated deadline. AVOID!

Took this professor for my eng 50 course, and I can't say it enough on how much I enjoyed her. She knows her students, and she did the best way to make sure we were always engaged. She's understanding and empathetic and I would 10/10 would take her again. Online midterm, couple assignments and creative final project, enjoyed taking her class overal

Truly might be one of my favorite classes I've taken at UCSB just because she makes the class that much more interesting.

I can't emphasize enough how great of a teacher she is, she's hilarious and relatable while also being able to properly educate the class about the subject at hand, there's a couple writing assignments sprinkled in throughout the quarter and she assigns a creative project at the end, but I can't recommend her enough so TAKE HER
