Good lectures with lots of examples. Weekly labs/hw and midterm/final are group work. Concepts get hard fast so make sure to use oh to your advantage
This class was pretty chill. In my opinion there was a lot more learning about Python and not as much about actual data science until the very end, which was actually more fun for me. If you want a good introduction to basic Python and logic, take this class, but maybe don't expect to learn much about data science if you do.
This professor is very good at breaking down difficult concepts into easy examples. During class you follow along with him on these examples, and then there is one lab and one homework per week, both pretty short and simple, and both midterm and final are group projects that you have 2 weeks to complete! Super nice professor too, I recommend!
he is very nice and willing to help. definitely show up to lecture because things start picking up and i would get really confused. a lot of help outside of class for homework or labs. group final project was the final and you are mostly graded on hw and labs. good introduction to coding and data science. would recommend!
one lab and one hw due per week and not graded by TAs, is graded by an autograder which can be wrong sometimes. concepts develop very fast, so if you're not understanding something go to tutoring to try and figure out what's going on before next hw or lab where you have to build on those concepts, wouldn't reccommend unless you need it.
