Dr. Hiebert was super sweet and caring, and it was clear she loves to teach, even though she's relatively new to it, being a young post-doc. The exams were a bit rough, but the discussion sections were helpful in reviewing material, and the TAs went out of their way to ensure we were as prepared as possible. All in all I enjoyed this class!

One of the best professors I've ever had! I'm glad to finally have a professor who is a woman in STEM. Her and the TAs are super nice and help everyone succeed in this genetics class. There are a lot of extra credit opportunities and homework grades. Exams are reasonable and she takes everyone's feedback into consideration.
