Incredibly kind + enthusiastic; Very friendly environment, most participation is done w/ classmates but it's not socially draining at all and she understands every need you have. We had lots of games and our final review was grammar/vocab jeopardy with Mexican candy prizes. Great class, really set my standards for good profs lol.

Prof Brigadier is super super nice- the language department at UCSB is generally pretty rigid and demanding, but her grading criteria is fair, airing on the side of easy, and she's an effective teacher. I would definitely recommend you take her for Spanish 3 if you're able to.

She was so amazing and helpful and gives you a good grade if you participate even if you don't do as well on exams

She's really sweet and was encouraging when I wasn't sure if I could keep up with the class. She's really nice but there definitely is a good amount of work. Nothing too hard tho would def recommend!

Love this teacher. First quarter at UCSB and she was super sweet and an easy grader. Grades easy for midterm and essays. Participation matters and you get 2 free absences. Overall, this prof was super kind and wanted us to succeed. Buena suerte!
