Professor Davies is the absolute best professor! Super caring and really makes sure that all of his students understand what is going on in class. The midterm and final were very on point with what he taught in class and what he put on the study guide. It is a pretty easy class which makes it actually enjoyable to learn the material.

I love this man Morgan Davies! He is honestly such a caring teacher and even though he went through a hard time during Fall 2023, he was still on top of things and gave extra credit for his mishaps. He is a great lecturer and answers questions throughout lectures. He is the GOAT of al phil 3 teachers. Gavin was my TA and he was pretty good as well.

Morgan was the best phil teacher, he gives good lectures and helpful study guides for midterm and final. Try to get Jordan as a TA, he is also the best, both are very insightful, approachable, and willing to help!

he was a really nice prof and his grading system is really fair, since you could choose what you wanted to invest your time into (tests vs essays). lecture material was also really interesting and there wasn't too much reading since he would go over it in lecture. overall great guy, even gave us extra credit because he came late to our quiz day

Davies truly cares about his students and constantly makes sure they are understanding the lectures as he goes. He's very approachable for questions and is kind. The only reason I didn't do especially well is because I was balancing some other difficult classes. There are weekly quizzes but he's open in office hours to help. Midterm & Final = easy

Very understanding and caring !! Offers two pathways for grading, one that heavily relies on two quizzes(easy if you attend lecture and do a few of the readings) and the other which consists of a solo presentation. Loved the class and perfect for a GE, however I would be interested in taking another class with him because he is cool!

This is my second time taking Davies and both times have been delightful. Very insightful lectures, the readings are always fitted to lectures and there are a lot of opportunities for extra credit. The course had two grading options to fit students needs. Davies is a very accommodating professor and clearly loves this class!
