I really wanted to enjoy this class, unfortunately, it was made extremely difficult by Moraga's disorganized structure of the class. I could see the potential she has as a professor but for this class, it did not seem to work. She rarely gave lectures on things helpful for assignments. Instead, she would just assume we knew background info.

such a sweet and knowledgeable woman. not a traditional lecture structure, theyre more like attending seminars where she talks about her life/context for the texts and there are guest lectures sometimes. straightforward takehome midterm/final. most assignments require personal engagement with content. get prepared to be vulnerable in this class

Moraga is a very inspirational prof and truly cares about teaching. Lectures aren't mandatory but are still amazing to go to, especially when she brings in guest speakers. The class is definitely an easy A, but is worth caring about because the material is so important.
