On god this man is so bad at teaching, there were 3 hour lectures once a week and somehow he managed to mess that up. Your whole grade is spilt between the midterm and final that are also horrible. He jus rambles like bro pls stop. I am a geo major but this was the bane of my existence and had me contemplating jumping into the ocean.

If you miss lecture, you will not pass. Graded by mainly 2 mid terms and a final.

Only graded by midterm and final, each 50% of the total grade. Test questions are on ridiculously niche things he may include in jokes or recipes during lecture. You don't know what to expect for them.

While Professor Montello is a nice and funny human, he was not a great teacher. The textbook was long, dense, and (unfortunately) a necessary read as the Prof often leaves out info in his lectures and assumes that his students read the book for tests. There are 3 lectures per week, and you write down what he says (bc almost no text in slide shows)
