They were one of the funniest professors! Pay attention to the little things because they help with the final! I would 100% take this class again! Participation Matters and they like it when you go to their office hours!

Ry is scattered and the lectures drag on. We spent too much time focusing on elementary concepts. They try to point their students to a specific answer. Classes are boring. They try to cultivate individuality, but they are too tightly managing the class setting for any organic conversation to flow.

3 readings a week, each 20-50 pages long, 2 quizzes a week on the readings(timed). Class had potential, but Ry isn't understanding, you need help better ask the TA. Don't plan on missing class, your grade will go down a full/partial letter! No retakes, no make-ups, but at least there are five points of extra credit to make up for it lol.

Best class and professor I've ever had. There was a lot of homework I spent on average 2 hours a day on that class but their lectures are amazing.

prof is super nice and engaging in office hours and is super responsive over email, and was really sensitive and aware of my accommodations, but the class itself is a lot of work. I took it over the summer so its prob harder but incredibly interesting and relevant course. Daily reading + lecture + lecture quiz is about 2 hours/day

Class is run in a way more complicated and tiresome way than necessary (she explained its intentional because it builds character). The info would be interesting and start meaningful conversations but the super melodramatic and meandering lectures with regular music breaks got old fast. Daily quiz, lecture and hw and doesn't care if you work.
