Highly recommend! Mon were film screenings(no clicker), while Tues and Thurs covered films/readings (iClicker attendance).Occasionally canceled lecture with notice. Emily Hudson led great discussions, was very nice and caring. Weekly journals, no midterm or final, just an abstract and bibliography midterm week and a take-home essay as the final.

Loved this class! We would watch movies and write film journals on them with our own analysis/through feminist lens and was definitely really doable if you're looking for an easy class. I could tell she was very caring and understanding of students. Would reccomend!!

SO EASY!! On Mondays we had film days along with Tues & Thurs being lecture days (she often canceled them) There are about 3-4 readings per week on top of 1 assignment per week (film journal). There is an abstract/bibliography as well as a Final Paper. Sections are very helpful if you're stuck on what to write about. Interesting class in general :)

easy professor, really sweet and easygoing, understanding and patient with students. only a few projects and all the information we learned was really interesting. one or two papers and a final project which was pretty easy! easy grader as well. highly recommend
