This was his first time teaching the (or any other) class and it was all online, so the conditions were ripe for failure. Homeworks were pretty hard and lectures always seemed stressed, fast, and rushed with a lot of derivations. But he learned and started to slow down a little more, give lots of time for exams, and do more example problems.
