Loved Seibold! Really wanted to connect with students and really promoted discussion and participation, bummed he is leaving the department as I would love to take another class with him! Super helpful and teaches practical knowledge you can really apply to real world scenarios

Prof. Seibold is THE most intelligent, business savvy, and highly educated professors I have ever taken. Very enthusiastic. HOWEVER, his lectures are not clear and it's hard to focus. His powerpoints are not helpful when trying to study from them. I would not take another class from him.

Dr. Seibold is a great teacher and is really high energy, has really clear note slides, and is an awesome guy and makes any topic pretty easy to understand and he's just a really great lecturer. You have to study both book and lecture hard to do well but his tests are nice and straight forward and he barely uses any trick questions. Recommend him.

Got an A in his class, but he had a strong dislike for me and insulted me both in front of the class as well as in office hours when I seeked help. A very unpleasant and downright immature professor, do not take his classes.

One of the nicest most understanding teachers I've ever had. The class is difficult but very useful. Lectures are hard to decipher after class but doing the readings help and he is always willing to clarify. VERY FAIR- grades fairly and even lets you write on test to argue answers. Such a nice guy- really cares and tries to help students succeed.

Hard to understand professor at times. have to go back and understand the course material on your own to grasp the concepts described in class. TA office hours are incredibly pointless ( similar to lower division comm where feedback is virtually non-existent). Tests and papers are hard. So study hard. (based on lectures and book equally)

I took professor Seibold recently and my group and I were less than thrilled to see what we got on our presentation (graded by TA Justin who is USELESS) I got an A on my papers logs and a B on our presentation but the test was hard! GRADING SCALE SUCKS! 72% is a D!! DON'T TAKE HIS CLASSES he's rude and doesn't want to help you!

The small group class he teaches is rediculous. The amount of work that is required is a midterm and a final twenty pages worth of logs a SIX page paper and a group presentation. A lot of time spent outside of class. The amount of work should make this class worth five units not six. The tests are pretty hard too. DON'T TAKE!

class could be a Sat. seminar rather than a 10 wk course, he's a nice guy, very informed on the topic but very much a business man, the course is useful if you wish to pursue a career in marketing or sales-it's very much directed towards those types of professions, have to do 2 real interviews and analyze them (2 pg ppr and 4pg ppr),then a MC final
