The class could be hard but he made it easy to follow. You can tell he cares about student feedback and he even adjusted the syllabus after the midterm survey. He listens to the class and really helped me a lot with the homeworks.

Ming helped me a lot with the coding part in this class, and I really liked going to his office hours. And him explaining to the class in the beginning it would be difficult to schedule extra meetings towards the final, he even helped me at 10 PM on zoom during my review for the exam. It really helped improve my performance. Thanks, Ming!

Ming is really great about communicating and interacting with us. In the first couple of sections he would let us first work on the section worksheet, but then he asked us if it was too hard and responded to our request. He continued the quarter explaining the solutions in details and working with us in the sections. Love this class with him!

Professor is very responsive on emails and piazza. I really benefited from visiting him in the office hours, even though the midterm was a bit tough, he helped me a lot in the second half of the quarter. Great class.
