Prof. Victorian was okay. Each week we had to post a 500 word reading response to a forum, as well as complete a reading quiz. The quizzes were really easy. The class was pretty easy as long as you turn in all the assignments. The class was asynchronous, so I'm not sure how Victorian is for in person classes.

The class itself was very easy but they were so unresponsive to any emails. I'd take the class again, but just go into it knowing that they are not the best at responding. It may be different in-person.

This is a seminar class, so its a bit different than others but I love prof v. Theyre very welcoming and they bring up interesting conversations, I learned a lot. They grade fairly and are very organized. I felt like this is the most applicable class Ive taken in the FEMST department and helps give you a better picture of research + grad school

Took during Summer Session A. Interesting topics! Weekly quizzes based on readings. Super easy. Weekly forums and responses which were 150 words each. Since you had to do the readings for the quiz, this was also easy. Then a final project, which could be a Zine, video, or paper. I did the Zine which was easy, just had to write a 500 explanation.

I highly recommend this class with Victorian. The topics we studied were interesting & the workload wasn't too heavy. There was usually 3-6 readings/week and they were enjoyable & easy to read. There were also weekly reading quizzes (super easy). In terms of assignment intensity, it was standard to other classes I've taken during COVID-19.

Gives WAY too much work for an online summer class during a pandemic. LOTS of reading, 2 page weekly reading response, 2 150 word responses to classmates' responses, weekly quizzes. On top of that, a 5-7 page final paper. He used to do recorded lectures but he just uploads ppt's. Would not recommend. Does not recognize the times.
