Patricio was teaching a very difficult course however he wasn't the best lecturer I have had. He grades pretty strict and expects you to teach yourself on tough issues. He tries to explain concepts but oftentimes it's not as clear as some would desire. I believe he tries and he cares but the course material was tough to understand.

Very knowledgable professor. Had him for Thomas Aquinass Metaphysics of Morals. The material was difficult, but rewarding. Lectures were systematic and comprehensive. Participation was encouraged, and he made himself available to his students. Come to class prepared.

Class was composed of 3 papers, 3rd was multiple prompts but nothing terrible. Nice man but lectured the entire class with minimal participation from students so was a bit boring. Kind of hard to follow the lectures but he and TAs were always available outside of class to help clarify. Attend the lectures and you should be fine!
