she's a professor at cypress now! if you already know Spanish and you're taking the course to understand the grammar part then the class will be easy for you! if you do not know Spanish let her know ahead of time that way, she can take the course slow!

I've taken Spanish for over twelve years, and Samanta is by far my favorite professor. Classes were always fun and engaging, and I've never been a part of a more enthusiastic Spanish class. You can tell that Samanta cares deeply about every student as a person and she's very easy to reach out to. Amazing professor, definitely recommend.

Samanta is one of the best professors I have ever had here at UCSB. Her lectures are very interesting and she is super helpful both in and outside of class. You can also tell that she cares about her students a lot and it shows in the feedback she gives on essay's and homework. She is super approachable and is overall an amazing professor! 10/10

Samanta is the best Spanish professor I have had at UCSB (had 5 others before)! I had her for Spanish 3 then Spanish 25, and she is incredibly sweet and enthusiastic. She makes learning Spanish super fun, and she appreciates you trying your best to participate. I never have felt embarrassed in her class, and she challenges students in the best ways

Samanta is a good choice for Spanish 1. She is always ready to help you if you miss assignments or need help w homework. She is not a tough grader. I def recommend her
