Highly recommend Prof. Bellomi! His lectures were so comprehensive, engaging, and informative. He seemed truly caring and passionate about the subject, which really shined through during lectures. It was a good amount of reading, but definitely manageable. Graded on a midterm, final, one 1800 word essay, and participation in section.

I've taken Prof. Bellomi for two separate courses now and he's easily one of the best lecturers in the Comparative Lit department. He's extremely understanding and kind towards students and provides a reasonable amount of readings throughout the quarter. His classes are an easy A if you put in your best effort.

Really really nice guy. His lectures were VERY informative, and he went a little too fast at times, but otherwise he was a great prof. I liked the reading and it was spread out reasonably. He was funny and didn't force us to participate. Also very reasonable when the pandemic hit and we all had to go home.
