Tons of HW (I have to spend more time than my major classes) and unnecessary work loads. The contents are VERY similar to LING3A and LING3B. I will never take her class again.

She is a very patient and kind professor. Often give us a one-on-one talk about their own problems and weaknesses. She gave us very specific marking requirements. You can get an A as long as you do exactly what she asks. She pays attention to class participation, so answer questions actively. Trust this professor to help you a lot with your writing

Olivia is awesome! She is one of the best professors I've met at UCSB, who is caring, inspiring, and responsible. Although she usually assigns reading tasks as well as relatively profound documentary films, she spends lots of time discussing in class. As long as you do assignments and spent time on thinking, you will learn and benefit a lot!

Olivia is the most considerate and easygoing professor I've ever met. She cares about students and gives fairly high grades if you finish regular assignments. Besides, if you have logic and reasonable reason for late submission, she will take that into consideration and won't take off your point for this.
