I've taken Vicky for three quarters now, and I've thoroughly enjoyed every one of her classes. Sometimes her classes are a bit annoying when everything is in German and we obviously aren't at that level of fluency, and there's a LOT of homework, but Vicky herself is pretty personable and fun to talk with, and she grades pretty fairly.

I didn't enjoy this class. She is too strict and speaks too fast.

This is the first time I changed a German class from letter grade to pass/fail. She is strict. Not very approachable and seems bored. Also not very organized.

I don't have any major complaints about this class, but compared to the other German classes I have taken at UCSB, this one just didn't have the same energy. The instructor seemed tired a lot and only a few people participated. We also didn't get enough feedback on homework.
