Professor Sarnelli makes class super engaging and enjoyable! She creates a comfortable atmosphere for everyone to participate and really cares about her students. She grades relatively easy and makes the class low stress. There's 4 quizzes and a final, but the work is really doable and requires minimal time outside class.

Had Professor Sarnelli for a GE and she was great! We had quizzes every Thursday based on the films we were assigned that week. After week two I stopped watching the films and started guessing on the quizzes, which led to my A-, but Sarnelli purposely made them easy. Exams were easy too. She very clearly wanted all of us to do well in her class.

Class: Italy in film. LOVE HER!! One of the best teachers I have had here. Passionate about what she is teaching and likes when you participate. wonderful person, allows you to make up any missed assignments. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I took Italian 1 as a hybrid course, and I loved it. Since it was a hybrid course there was a lot of homework at times, with a quiz about every two weeks plus writing assignments. Overall, I loved this class and Professor Sarnelli. Shes really nice and fair, I defiantly recommend taking a class with her.

Professor Laura is an amazing teacher and made Italian very easy and fun to learn. Quizzes every other 2 weeks a total of 4 but not too bad if you study for them. Gives clear instructions is very patient wants her students to succeed.
